Welcome! My name is Sarah Hatton and I am currently a researcher and MFA student at Arizona State University. I have started working on my MFA thesis this semester and I plan on finishing my degree in Spring 2009. Summer 2008 plans include an internship with EA on the Pogo casual gaming site!
I really enjoy working with students and the community. My current work explores issues in semantic expression and meaning, conceptual representation, metaphor, reflective practice, and interactive storytelling. Past themes and focuses of my art and research have also included adventure, escape, romance, telepresence, and virtual reality. I graduated in 2003 with a BFA in Electronic Media from Carnegie Mellon. I have presented, exhibited or published work in Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Philadelphia, the UK and Denmark.
